New Additions

Hello all,

This week myself and a few of my college friends went into Dublin for a spot of shopping. I say shopping but what it really consisted of was us standing in awe in the Disney shop and drinking hot chocolate. There was also a trip to Dublin Ink where three of us got piercings as you do, mine was extremely spur of the moment ( thank you Vanessa for my education on the human ear)but no harm. I had never seen the Christmas lights in the big Smoke ( what a cluchie) so I definitely went home in a very Christmassy mood. Ironically most of things I bought that day were black..oops!
Here are some of the recent things that have sneaked into my wardrobe :)

1) Green Velvet Top - €5, Penneys

I love velvet and I love this shade of green so when I saw this top reduced from €13 to just €5 I had to have it. It is slightly longer than the average crop top which I also love as I don't really think the normal crop top suits me. I can't wait to wear it with high waisted jeans!

2) Pleather Joggers- Primark, €13

These are a bit odd & I don't know why I love them but I just do. I have gone mad for anything pleather-esque (which you will see in a bit)lately and these were no exception. I live in skinny jeans so it's nice to wear something with a different shape to them.

3) Pack of 5 Glitter Socks- Penneys, €3.50

I love glitter and I love socks so I most definitely love glitter socks. I like to wear these 'fancier' socks - meaning not my odd ones that my family and housemates always see, for wearing with ankles boots or my converse. I think it's nice to just have them peeking up from your shoes :)

 4) Pleather Pencil Skirt - New Look, €16.99

I love the shape of this skirt and although it isn't the most flattering of materials, especially when skin tight I somehow don't really mind ( I probably should but whatevs). I have been on the hunt for a skirt like this for too long and I was so happy to find it in New Look. I can see it becoming a staple for college nights out.

5) Pleather Skater Skirt- Boohoo, €15

Yes pleather again, I'm sorry. I mentioned I was looking for a pleather skater skirt in my latest wishlist post and thankfully Boohoo saved the day. This skirt has a lovely shape to it and I like the way it sort of ...well sticks out ! A handy thing to throw on and make it look like you put in an effort!

6) Floral Peplum Skirt- €20, second hand

I love this skirt so much. I am so late on the whole peplum thing but better late than never as they say. I bought this second hand from fellow Irish fashion blogger Retro Flame. It is originally Zara but I got it for just €20 which is amazing for a Zara piece. I can't wait to wear it :)

That's all for now folks, I hope you saw something you like and have better self control than me :)
Til next time,
Hannah

Socks, Jumpers and Jewels

Hello all,

So the long weekend for me consisted of family, fires, blankets, walks, gifts & the Lord of the Rings. Sounds like a perfect weekend to me! As I mentioned in my latest Outfit Post myself, my three sisters, my brother & his girlfriend went to see the Lord of the Rings accompanied by the RTÉ Orchestra in the O2. It was amazing, and now I feel extremely untalented. Oh well! To cheer me up however I just had a look over some of things that came into my possession that weekend and I didn't feel so bad! I was kindly given a few little presents from my family as a thank you for having them stay in my college house. These presents were very sound of them since said house was often smelly and always freezing. I hope you like some of the bits :)

Baby Blue Baby Soft Jumper

I bought this on E-bay yonks ago and it arrived this week thank goodness. It cost just over €10 (including postage) so I was pretty happy with my E-baying skills. This jumper is so soft and cosy and I actually wore it Sunday night to the LOTR. An Outfit Post will be up during the week :)

Baby Blue Jewelled Necklace

Kind of going with this baby blue trend I bought this necklace for €12 from Dunnes Stores. I am so impressed with Dunnes these days , even though the prices have gone up it's well worth it for what you get. I think this necklace looks so much more expensive than what it was!

Sparkly Hat

Hat? Sparkles? Sparkly Hat? I need it! This hat was kindly bought my by sister Bernie , thank you! It's from Tesco and again I am very impressed with the range available. It ain't just for your Tayto and pizzas no more!

Baby Pink Baby Soft Jumper

I was just a little bit too excited about this. I featured a very similar jumper in my Wishlist post a few days ago and my extremely sound sister Emma bought this for me on behalf of the family. I cannot wait to wear it! This one is from Bershka

Slipper Boots

Another part of the present were these slipper boots. They are fleece lined need I say more? I love them and I am currently wearing them as I write this! They are from Penneys/Primark

Dark & Vampy Nail Polish

I successfully went to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and back without buying anything but then I went to Tesco of all places and ended up buying this nail polish and a Sally Hansen top coat (that's lurking in my sister's bag at the moment). I love the colour of this nail polish as it's dark but not quite black. It was €4.99

My sister Sinéad also bought me a cool notebook which I am now using as place to keep all my ideas for this blog. Thanks to all the Fergusons for their presents !

That's all for now,
Thank you for reading

Top 3 Online Shopping Destinations

Hello all,

So online shopping is becoming a big problem for me aided by the fact that this year I was granted with my very own VISA bank card. Now with so many clothes on offer with just a click of a button away and considering I have very little will power I have grown into a very experienced( and now poor) online shopper! Here are my top websites along with any tips regarding the beautiful land that is online shopping. So let's begin!

1) Missguided. If you click this & love all you see but your wallet feels the brunt of it I'm sorry

You probably all already know of it because hands down it's one of the best websites out there. Any students reading this make sure you register with UNIDAYS here's the link . On a side note, for a long time i thought UNIDAYS was just for British students but nope all you fellow Irish students get a 10% discount for Missguided. They also give loads of discounts for other websites too, all you have to do is register & login with your college number & password, simple.
Missguided have a huge range of clothes for all tastes and anything I've ever ordered from there has been extremely good quality. Make sure to check out their 'Sweet Deals' section for some absolute bargains. Their shipping rates are cheap & really fast too. The only thing I'll say about it  is if you see something you like order it as soon as possible because they sell out of items pretty darn fast.

2) E-bay Click me

Do you have a bag/ jacket/ pair of shoes that you have always imagined of owning but you never see it in the shops? If you answered yes then E-bay is your new best friend. It always has what you're looking for and is well worth a gawk when the highstreet fails you. If you have a smart phone make sure to download the E-bay app as it gives you the option to 'watch' an item that tickles your fancy. This is super handy because when the auction is coming to end you get a notification on your phone reminding you to get your skates on . The only negative I can say about E-bay is that it is very addictive, consider this your warning.

3) Etsy Click me too

Etsy is a haven for unique items ranging from furniture to books to clothes. What I personally love it for though is it's jewellery. I am a self confessed magpie & I love buying jewellery. Head on over and do a search along the lines of 'statement necklace' and behold the hundreds of beautiful necklaces before you. Shipping takes a bit longer than other websites but it's definitely worth it. Oh and did I mention you can get necklaces for as cheap as €3.

Now of course there are loads more out there but I find I spend the most time on the 3 above, however since I am an online shopaholic I thought I'd give you a few more websites that are definitely worth a look
(just click on the name and you will be directed to their website..technology these days )

That's all I can think of at the moment but it's a good variety of websites that you might not of heard of before or thought of shopping on. Also all of them have various prices & products so as to suit everyone. As always I hope this post helped somebody somewhere and I do apologise in advance if any of these websites resort to you becoming considerably poorer. Happy shopping!

'Til next time,
Hannah
